To achieve a still good illumination result it requires reflectors of much higher quality. We have taken it inot consideration when selecting the spotlights, particularly those of the first category.
- In addition the high wattage generates quite a lot of heat that cannot be easily dissipated in the ground. In combination with humidity and low temperatures the material is exposed to high levels of stress. Cheaper floor lights often show problems with the illumination and mainly with the frames`s long-term water tightness. For this reason we do not offer any cheap spotlights.
- Every manufacturer of floor lights and built-in floor lights offers different specialties, i.e. products not offered by other manufacturers. We have tried to find exactly those unusual solutions. After carefull testing and documentation we can now offer you these specialties.

When installing built-in floor lights with high wattage and light output please keep in mind that the glass surface may become very hot. For some types the temperature can be reduced with optional accessories. The customer support of Lichtloesung.de will gladly advice you.
Depending on the location we recommend to mount the built-in floor lights into solid sand or cement. The fundament should be arranged such that water can flow off, i.e. to avoid that the spotlight does not have too much contact with water. Even when using high quality products it could result in penetrating water. Ideally you prepare the ground with a 50 cm deep gravel bed.
