A wall light of this type can be often seen outside. This is understnadable, because it is a classical proven shape. However we consider this model clearly more attractive than the most other models, which you can buy in the DIY store.

Because here it is not a normal light bulb or an energy saving lamp, which provides the light, but two compact energy saving lamps. In our opinion the compact energy saving lamps are the clearly better illuminant, as the transformer is not (as it is the case with energy saving lamps) designed as a throwaway item, but is mounted fix. Hence the light is a bit more expensive when purchasing, but clearly cheaper with regard to the power consumption and when exchanging the illuminant.
